Mystic Meadows Daylily Farm is a New York State Inspected Daylily Nursery located in Western NY, 30 minutes SE of Buffalo, NY. The gardens are 10 minutes from East Aurora, NY, which home of the Roycroft Arts & Crafts Movement.
My love of gardening, and green thumbs, were inherited from my Mother and Grandmother. I grow, sell, and hybridize daylilies that thrive in a Northern climate. We're sure you've heard the stories of our Buffalo Winters ... well, they're pretty much true. Though the daylilies usually survive our winters under a foot or so of white mulch.
I am an active member and past officer, of BADS (Buffalo Area Daylily Society).

Group tours are welcome; please contact me for date and time and approx. number of visitors.
Local visitors are also welcome, I will dig your orders for you while you are in the gardens. Please call a few days before you would like to visit, I work a full time career and am only available nights and weekends.
I currently have over 400 named cultivars and a hundred seedlings, or so that I am evaluating. My favorite daylily form is the Unusual Form (UF); daylilies that twist and curl, and have movement. I have collected quite a few Spiders and UF's, and am always looking for new ones.
The gardens are open mostly by appointment. I have a full time career as a Mortgage Banker. So the "Open" shingle is usually hung out for the gardens on nights and weekends. But please call in advance so I can make sure I'll be home, as I like to visit other gardens and participate in Buffalo gardening functions.
My small farm is just under 20 acres. About 5 acres are cleared and 15 are wooded. I have 3 adorable miniature donkeys that just love visitors, especially when that visitor has a carrot or apple to share.
The front pasture is the daylily growing/sales area, and the gardens are behind the house. I grow most every type of plant that likes the climate in Zone 5, and keeps adding every year. There's a 3/4 acre pond behind the house also, with iris growing at its edges and water lilies floating on its surface. If you look close enough you just might see a Large Mouthed Bass, Bluegill, or Gold Fish glide by.
So come and visit!
We look forward to seeing you!
